Hi,

I'm having internet issues with my computer, and I found out that the problem seems to be coming from the Wifi card. I can't enjoy any internet speed higher than 40KB/s, while my phone can still download files at 200KB/s (which is the highest speed I can expect with my internet plan). I also tried to plug the card into another PCI port but the results are the same. It's a shame because I purchased the card about 6 months ago, but it was a low end one : a TP-LINK TL-WN781ND. I'm currently using my phone as a USB Wifi adapter and I'm getting normal speeds now.

The first thing I want to know is whether it's possible to fix the card. Otherwise, I would like to know how to choose a good replacement. My router is also a cheap TP-Link one (TP-LINK TD-W8960N) at only 150 mbps. Is it worth investing more on a Wifi card?

Thanks
