Hi LTT! I'm planning on building my first desktop soon (for gaming) and I was wondering what parts I should get.

Here's what I have so far.

CPU

i5-4690k

MoBo

MSI Z97 Gaming 5

CPU Cooler

Be quiet! Dark Rock 3

RAM

I don't have one yet.. So any suggestions for great quality RAM?

SSD

(Boot Drive) Crucial MX100 256Gb

HDD

Seagate Barracuda 1Tb 7200RPM

Graphics Card

MSI Twin Frozr V 970 4Gb (*cough* 3.5Gb *cough*)

Case

Also don't have one.. I know most of it is based on personal preference, but any suggestions?

PSU

Again, I don't have one.. Any great 750w-850w PSUs?

Wireless Network Adaptor (I can't get wired where I'm having the desktop in my house)

TP-Link TL-WDN4800

Keyboard

Corsair K95 MX Reds (Non-RGB)

Mouse

Razer DA Chroma (the 10,000 DPI max one)

Any thoughts? My budget is around £1050 by the way.. Thanks!

On the subject of cases, I recommend you look at NZXT and Fractal Design if you want minimalism.

Corsair's AX and RM PSU's are good, as well as EVGA's.

I recommend the EVGA GTX 970 SSC over MSI's Twin Frozr.

The Rig: NZXT H440 M3 (Green and Black) (Ncase M1 coming soon!!) | Intel Core i5-4690k x BeQuiet PureRock Slim | EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SSC  | ASUS H81i Plus | 12GB EVGA SSC @ 1600MHz | Seagate Barracuda 2TB | Sandisk Ultra II 480GB | Corsair SF 450| LG 29" Ultrawide | CoolerMaster Quickfire Rapid TKL | Corsair M65 Black Sennheiser HD 558 (MOD) | Audio-Technica ATR 2500

Well, here. I recommend buying the peripherals on a physical store, as you HAVE to test then with your own hands. Just trust me on this one, you'll thank me later...

Also, I went a bit overkill on the case. Cuz why not?
