Posted April 12, 2015 My friend asked me to build him a gaming PC for around $500 but no more than $600 (not including windows, pricing pc itself, already has a monitor, keyboard and mouse,). He wants to be able to record his games while he plays, and wants to remain at 60 fps at 1080p. As for games he doesn't play too many intensive games, he plays League of Legends, Heros of the Storm, Skyrim and Dragon Age. He would like to play more AAA titles but his laptop cannot run them at his playable framerate (60 fps)He is looking to start up a gamming youtube channel, but on his laptop using any screen recording software drops his fps to 30 and below. His only requirement is that he wants an AMD GPU,I have scrolled through pcpartpicker and came up with a couple of builds using AMD processors, however, I am not confident in them as I no little to nothing at all about AMD CPUs.Please help! Posted April 12, 2015 Why does he want AMD so much? He's clearly fallen victim to AMDs slick marketing tricks Intel Core i7 9700k - EVGA FTW GTX
Posted April 12, 2015 id go for a 8320E or a 8350, id go for a used gpu. can get more bang for the buck if hes okay with that. Why does he want AMD so much? He's clearly fallen victim to AMDs slick marketing tricks for this price point its okay. for 100 bucks less, and faster then a I5 in rendering? if something is half the cost and still even in the same league, then it should be considered a option. a serious option
