Mining Ziftrcoin (Bottleneck?)

Hello, I am currently mining Ziftrcoin ( and plan to do so for awhile) and I notice that my wallet/miner says that I am outputting 4.99 MH/s, but when I go to Ziftercoin.io, I only see about 4.06MH/s Is my network/interwebs bottle-necking me?  Should get closer my router (or just Ethernet cable it in)? I am currently;y reallllly far away from it, and I am thinking that that might be my problem. As I said in other posts in mining, I'm a noob at this, so I'm just learning. Thanks!

An Ethernet cable would be preferable for a more solid and reliable connection however as Name Taken said the pool hashrate is more of an average hashrate than actual hashrate so it will fluctuate

Pool hashrate is calculated on number of shares submitted over a given time so it's normal to have up to +/-50%.

thanks for the answer, I get it, right now I am at 6.17MH/s. I probably will connect with an ethernet cable later
