best CPU for 200$

I have got a MSI r9 290x lightning edition. And I want to buy a processor within 190 bucks. I am willing to buy fx8320 but will it bottleneck my graphics card???? Or should I buy fx8350 or any other processor??

But should not the 8350 be better with mantle than i5 ???

Although the FX-8350 has more cores (8 cores) but don't just judge the performance by the cores, sure it has 8 cores but they are weaker (slower cores). i5 has 4 cores but they are stronger (faster cores) therefore i5 is better for gaming (if you use your PC for gaming) because games like stronger cores over more cores.

i'd recommend an i5 4460 or if you can afford it an i5 4590. AMD's cpus are weak. very weak. an 8320 wouldn't bottleneck a 290X in most games, only cpu intensive games. In the end tho, there is no way an 83XX will ever out perform an i5 in gaming. dx 12 or not.

yes...get an i5-4460 and a cheap H series chipset motherboard.

Otherwise spend some time on kijiji or craigslist hunting for cheap i5 desktops

If the op isnt in the United States that 4590 i5 is about 215 CAD atm so idk.

maybe a i5 3570 from a used system for $200 or less might be ideal.

Sell of the rest as parts to drop the overall cost.

But if the cpu has to be new and under $200 an fx 8 core might work for him if he's okay with a bit of overclocking.
