I recently ie now installed my new graphics card on my matx board not noticing beforehand that it covers the only slot where my pci 1x wireless card would go. So i cannot install new card drivers because of no optical or internet what do i do?!?

Buy a New Wireless card via USB or you could move the Video card to the second PCI x16 slot (considering it does)

Not sure if this would fit under the GPU cooler or not, but a riser extension might be a cheap option.

Ok using ancient laptop as an adapter until new solution is bought, but I had an apu and just got a 960, however the performance is not changed if not worse. Is it just driver update?

Did you install the video drivers?  is not going to use the GPU corrently until you install them.

 

Also, Did you change the video connector to the new video card and not the integrated graphics.?

Which mobo this is? If it has any PCIe connectors, you can use those. Can't you use mobo ethernet for the time being?
