Trying to connect two computers with ics (one windows 7, one windows 8). We've tried the Microsoft forum's solution to the problem, which was:

All the following services must be thus configured in order to use ICS:

Application Layer Gateway Service
Network Connections
Network Location Awareness (NLA)
Plug And Play
Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
Remote Access Connection Manager
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
Telephony

After restarting our computers still did not want to connect.

There are 3 error logs, one occurs on every instance:

The ICS_IPV6 was unable to allocate bytes of memory. This may indicate that the system is low on virtual memory, or that the memory manager has encountered an internal error.

another only occasionally occurs:

The DHCP allocator has disabled itself on IP address 169.254.55.134, since the IP address is outside the 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 scope from which addresses are being allocated to DHCP clients. To enable the DHCP allocator on this IP address, change the scope to include the IP address, or change the IP address to fall within the scope.

and the third has only occurred after trying the Microsoft "fix":

The ICS_IPV6 failed to configure IPv6 stack.

Thanks in advanced for any help or insight you can provide.
