Honestly it was pretty easy. Why the two SSDs though? Seems like unnecessary cost. The two are almost the price of the 500 GB 850 EVO I posted but not nearly as much space.

Yup, just trying to make sure you get one awesome machine.

Why are you only wanting 60FPS on a 144Hz panel? You have spent so much on a monitor that wont be worth it if you cant use it fully.

My current build - Ever Changing.

Number 1 On LTT LGA 1150 CPU Cinebench R15

I decided I wanted the 980, so I can upgrade to sli a few months later, but you guys really think 970 sli will outpreform?

I just liked the idea of having the option of getting even more power when needed. If I go for sli immidiatly, I feel maxed out. knowing im not capeble of getting more power when needed

you wont need to update sli970 for a good amount of time...the 980 isnt much faster than a 970

A 970 matches a 980 when overclocked.

The answer is simple , yes.

And what happens when you overclock the 980 ?

You get about 10% performance over a overclocked 970 for 250 dollars more.

Pathetic lol.

^

Basically this. Even if you have the ROG Swift you can still use an AMD card, you are not stuck only with Nvidia, but bear in mind you won't use the full potential of that monitor with a single 980.

It's just so overpriced.
