I have my HD 7970 HIS IceQx2 @ Core 1150 and Memory at Stock 1375 with Voltage just 10mv higher than stock 1138

If I overclock further even to Core clock 1175 I get stuck in games and they crash and so does Furmark and Valley

I also tried increasing voltage to like 1160 or 1180

Help?

1175 was the wall for my cards, but I threw my voltage up to 1220. if I really wanted to push it, I could do 1275 core and 1300, but this lead to the cards getting up to 80-85*C

your probably at the max now that you should do

I'm at Voltage 1.138 and at 1150 Core Clock I can increase the Voltage?

I've seen many HD7950/7970/280/280x's at 1.250v at their max, I've even seen some HD7950's at 1.256v for their 3D loaded boost volts (FROM FACTORY)

With 1.250v cards, and unlocked voltage control you can even get to 1.3v+, but on AIR,.. your looking at nasty temps.

My HD7950 is 1.250v locked at 3D load, and I'm pushing 1150/1400, and have not tried to go further as I've only just got this in house, It seems to be a great chip, has not exceeded 71*c at those settings yet.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Damn, i'm trying to get higher.. :D I'll go max 1.190v probably

I dont get it, what I said is higher than 1.19v

If your near 1200Mhz with less than 1.25v you could possibly go way better.

At the moment I am at 1180 Core and 1390 Memory at 1.17v

Thats a pretty damn good result so far,...What temps are you running with that setup.?

I've seen many models that seem to go higher, but crap out around 1150-1175mhz.

I consider anything higher than 1175Mhz on Air a godsend for current AMD cards.

/260x @ 1185/1450 (Maximum it could manage with the150-160w window)

/280x @ 1100/1400 (not been bothered/pushed yet) (Currently what I'm running)

/290 @ 1150/1333 (Nice temps, but no warning, just died on me)

/290X @ 1100/1333 (conservative effort, could go further no doubt)

^All playing Games as well, not just benchmark stable. but FULLY stable ;)
