I've ran into some issues with my current 1TB WD blue as it barely loads anything. Loading 2 things at the same time will cause explorer to crash.

I'm looking for a 3TB hard drive which offers the most performance for my budget (Max 130 EU). I guess the preferred brands are Seagate and WD?

Besides, is it possible to put this new hard drive together with 1 SSD and my 1TB WD?

Thanks!

Hey Wano1997,

sorry to hear about your WD Blue. I would suggest running WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool and see what happens to be the issue with it. Run both the quick and the extended tests and see if it passes them. Here's a link: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=0RYjxg
Also I would check the resource monitor to see if the drive is being used at 100% and if any program or activity is eating up all of its resources.

You shouldn't have any problems having another drive in your system (besides the WD Blue and the SSD). I would suggest checking out WD Black and WD Green from the WD consumer line of drives. WD Black is a performance drive, optimized for speed, durability and more extensive heavier workloads. WD Green is designed for secondary storage and works great for storing media files and other things that are not storage demanding. It runs cool, quiet and has energy-saving features. Here are links to both drives:

Thanks guys for mentioning. I have trouble getting notifications from mentions so feel free to PM me if you need my help :)

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
