Workstation build (that's future proof)

Hi my name is jack I'm 14 and my dad has resently started a company. He is willing to spend some Dow but not a crazy amount on a workstain. His goals are storage 2-3 displays 8-16gbs of ram. He wants this to be around for

As stated above, please tell us your budget, usage and where you would like to buy the parts from. Also whether or not peripherals and OS are included in the budget, any special case features you're looking for and Win 7 or Win 8 (or other)... Give us more info!!

Depends on the type of "workstation" but in most cases when I think workstation I think Mac - it just works, it's fast, it's very energy efficient etc.

 

(and you can run Windows on them if you want to)

its also very expensive compared to building a pc and if he wants mac os he can always build a hackintosh
