Half life

ok so i just bought half life 1 on steam and when i open it its shows the guy then goes black screen but when i move the mouse i can here the sounds of bottons so its clearly (probably) the main screen my question is how do i fix it so i can see it thx

it aint my pc a lot of people with pc's that range from good to crap that are having the same prob. But if it helps i only have intergrated graphics :D (builing first pc at christmas) But thanks if you can help me :D

there's no way your specs are the problem.

 

also, if you can play HL2, just download black mesa. it's a standalone mod that you only need the source SDK for, and it is the entire first half-life, graphically updated.

Black Mesa is still missing the latter third of the game.

i fixed it all i had to do was go into laughch options on steam and type "-nofbo"
