Hi I want to get into 4k. What is the best budget gpu that can run games in 4k at decent fps?

I'd say get a 295x2, but for low-medium settings a 290 would do the job.

I don't think a budget GPU that can handle 4K exists. You need at least a R9 295X2.

Budget + 4k = no.

 

There's no such thing. You need an extremely high end card to drive 4k.

 

IMO it's a waste until the price comes down

You can run games like Dota and LoL @ 4K with a budget friendly graphics card, but for AAA titles-- forget it.

For AAA games go get a titan x as kit its a single card solution.

While an r9 295x2 is an xfire solution. With watercooling

4K gaming is a relatively costly investment. You must look at the long term commitment of 4K because it requires much more frequent hardware upgrades.
