because it currently has a Pentium, and its 3 bucks

Unfortunately you can't. The T5500 is a mobile chip (for laptops)

Hey guys,

 

I have a old mpga478B board that im thinking of redoing and putting Ubuntu on, but i just saw this cpu, and was wondering if it would work with it http://www.microcenter.com/product/385828/166GHz_Socket_478_T5500_Core_2_Duo_Processor_-_Refurbished
