My screen keeps randomly freezing in cs go but the audio still plays. Also it occasionally turns off and back on. I have gtx 770

i have the latest driversi

i believe you do but sometimes old settings get left behind and interrupt the GPU, it is better to do a full driver swipe and reinstall it has happened to me and i have told many people on this forum who had similar issues as you to do this, and it fixed theirs so give it a try in my humble opinion it should work  .

nvidia keeps breaking the os so im back to windows until i get an amd gpu

YUP!!!. The nvidia linux drivers are trash. I do CUDA development on Linux and I get to enjoy my screens colours inverting, the browser show random tabs and sometimes it refuses to display any non-ASCII characters.

it could be power supply, but it sounds like a display driver issue also, put it this way once i updated my GPU and after updating my screen froze after a couple mins of use like even watching a you tube video, and i tried everything to fix it.

the only thing that fixed it for me was using driver sweeper then installing my Stock drivers on the disc which came with the GPU, then i updated to latest after that and it worked for me.

if that does not work it could be power supply or maybe a cable issue.
