Ok so I this will be pretty long so bear with me.... I currently own a Razer Deathadder 2013 edition and it is working perfectly. I only had it for around 6 months and the right side grip is fell off. Now this mouse is very comfortable. The most comfortable mouse I have ever owned. The ergonomic is excellent. It is a great mouse over all but the hardware has failed me. Like I just can't deal with the fact that there is a missing grip on the right side of the mouse. So I have considered getting a different mouse. (I don't mind the money) So these are the mouse that I have looked into.... And PS. don't recommend laser mice, I am not a big fan of them.

-Another Razer Deathadder (Chorma) I really don't want to get another one though if I know the hardware is going to fail me once more again...

-Logitech Proteus core; I have pretty big hands for my size. I am currently 5 foot 3 (Middle school) This mouse is great, but I am scared that the size of the mouse is going to cause me to not to like it. The Razer Deathadder's shape and size was perfect for me and the Logitech's skinny shape is probably going to bother me if I use it for too long. I am also afraid that the amount of functions is going to bother me as well. Like there are so many buttons on that mouse and it will probably get in my way soooo....

-A zowie mouse; Now I head that these mice had really really good sensors (One of the best sensors out there) and if I am going to get one, I would get the fk1. Then again I love simple mice, not like the ones that have so many buttons like the logitech Proteus. There is one that bothers me though, its the size of the mouse. Like this thing is so small and I think it will bother me too...

-Corsair Raptor optical mouse; Now this mouse has the right size for me and I trust Corsair products. This type of size is the perfect size for me but the shape looks uncomfortable. Like I haven't tired the mouse personally yet but please if anyone has this mouse and the shape is comfortable to use please let me know. Thank you

If you have other opinions besides the mice that I have mentioned, please feel free to leave your thoughts and choice to let me know. Thank you!

Edit: @smacklerk i like your idea but the deathadder is a weird mouse imo

Either send back your DA or get a Zowie EC1 or Asus ROG Gladius. Both of those are similar to the DA. The FK1 is an amidextrous mouse which will feel weird going from your Deathadder. The Steelseries Rival also is an option. The G502 is nothing like the Deathadder in any way so avoid that for the shape of it.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I honestly think the DA series are pretty much perfect bar the exclusion of a DPI rocker.

I was rocking one for a good 6 months and couldn't take the whole loading up Synapse and manually changing DPI every time I got in or out of a game

If you've only had the DA2013 for 6 months then just RMA it. Will be cheaper for you and you'll get a brand new DA with a new warranty.

Uhhh... My DA was actually a gift and he purchased it from Amazon. I don't think he would have email confirmation number.

roccat military is da bomb. i love mine, no problems so far. great sensor and the buttons feel good and have a nice click. you have to try mice out if you can, go to a store if you can. the G502 is also nice and so is the new 303 i have't tried it yet though.

Ah, yeah, no chance of that really working. Either the EC1-A/B, ROG Gladius or Steelseries Rival.

You are talking about the Zowie Ec1 A right?

You could always ask I guess? I dunno.

If not go the Corsair, I've had a old M65 for a good 18 months before my rabbits finally chewed the cord out. It was the old laser sensor version, takes abit of getting used to the shape but once you do it's amazing :)

Yes, that or the EC2-A. If you palm grip then the EC2 will be more comfy.

Corsair M45 has a better sensor.

which mouse do you currently own?

None of them xD I own a Logitech M500 - super comfy and ergonomic for my hands. I'm not much of a gamer. Long story short, I did consider an EC1-A awhile back, though I think I solved the problem that caused me to think about a new mouse to replace my M500. You can PM me if you wanna, but I didn't buy the EC1-A because it was a bad mouse - I didn't buy it because I love my M500 and would rather never replace it and compromise to use it as long as possible.

Ok ok, the ROG mouse it says 50g acceleration. I checked the website and it said it was a Optical sensor so how does that make sense. Optical don't have acceleration am I correct?

I noticed a bit of a difference between the DA and the M65, but not enough that it's going to affect anybody bar extremely serious gamers whom would already know what they want in terms of peripherals. I was about 2-3 percent less accurate using the M65 during my time with it in BF4 gameplay. Though I could also put that down to margin of error or different play style as I mix up my loadout a ton. I don't really think it's going to be a major deal.

I've not yet used a M45 so I can't comment on that front.

The Monoprice EC1 os literally a rebranded Zowie EC1 eVo - not the best iteration of the EC1.

Acceleration as in physical acceleration, not pointer acceleration, thats why the unit is g.

No, there are Monoprice branded Zowie´s, but the Monoprice mice themselves are using office sensors.
