Can you use handbrake ??

I've never used it but I've heard of it. Isn't it a pain to use??

"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

I don't think it's a pain to use.

Deinterlace the video before encoding to whichever codec you are using.

Or deinterlace while playback, solution one is better.

How do I do that?

How do I do that?

It depends on the software you are using

In Handbrake:

If the movie is partially with jaggies

Decomb: Decomb

Drop-Down Menu: Default

If the whole movie is with jaggies

Decomb: Deinterlace

Drop-Down Menu: Slow/Slower
