This board can't overclock?

I bought a Biostar H81S2 mining board a while back when GPU mining was still a thing. I was running a Pentium G3220 and today I swapped it out for a 4690k. I figured since there was the multiplier option in the BIOS that in did in fact support overclocking, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

 

I changed the multiplier from 35 to 38, and then again to 42. These changes are saved, but they do not reflect when I reboot back into the BIOS or Windows. Any ideas?

The board doesn't support overclocking its an H series board.

not entirely true, some h series only supports Pentium overclocking 

Read the OP, he is trying to use a 4690k not a pentium......

The guy has a 4690k, not a pentium

i noticed, He had a Pentium, and switched to a 4690k, he worded it like the h series couldn't overclock no matter what the processor

>.> Clearly not since the only Pentium that is unlocked is the G3258. He was running a G3220 which is locked unless you oc it by BCLK.

^ This... Also, did you just say Biostar OP? Biostar motherboards are not that great of boards. My friends was horrible with regulating voltage so it shut off randomly, thank god he upgraded.
