New ssd

I just ordered a new 500g ssd wondering whats going to be the best way to transfer data to it.  I was also thinking of taking my normal HD and using it as back up so once a week it would back up ssd just to add protection what is best way of doing this don't what to do hours of downloading

For transfering I would recommend clonezilla

And for Backups I love Cobian Backup, very light but non the less feature rich
