I bought a i7 4790k and a 7970 HIS GHZ edition, is it too low for the CPU? Or will it use the max capability of the 7970 like it does with higher cards such as 970,980 etc.

Its not a high end GPU, but if you're getting satisfying performance Dont worry about it.

I'm waiting on the delivery to arrive, hopefully it should run well and what CPU usage and GPU usage should it normally be at if its fine? Like with games such as BF4, Arma 3, H1Z1 etc

I couldn't tell you, because I Dont own a setup even close to that, but you shouldn't really worry about it. Get your GPU, run some games, some stress tests, and monitor the usages yourself. If you see anything anomolous, come tell us and we will help you. But you should be able to get some pretty good frame rates in those games at high or more anyways. (Speculation right there, never owned one)

Your GPU will be at 100% while your CPU will be at low usage.

How do games run on your PC seeing you also have a i7 4790k?

At the moment I only have the gtx 650 ti boost, which is no where near as good as a gtx 970, my cpu NEVER has a problem while my GPU is always struggling at 100% load. xD

Here are some examples of what you can expect.

I wouldn't worry about it as you're at the top of the food chain when it comes to "gaming microprocessors".

There shouldn't be any game that chip can't handle.
