@Mohamed AkRam

There's not CPU in the first one, but I guess it's the 4790K. I think that the first one is better though the PSU isn't sufficient... you really need at least 600W imo.

Anyways happy building!

First one has an SSD.... so that will naturally be faster.

What is your budget and what are you using the PC for?

CPU: Intel Core I7-4790K Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 4.0GHz LGA 1150Monitor:Samsung S24D300HS 24 Inch LED LCD Monitor

and i want to mention that the second build doesn't contain an ssd

so which one will perform better guys? :)

Thanks :D

Let's compare one to one shall we?

Gigabyte G1 > Strix

Gaming 3 and Gaming 5 mobo isnt all that much different, look at the feature and see if you need the extra SATA slot etc on the Gaming 5 or not

Both PSU is ok, but are you sure you want to go with something that low? for 1 GTX 970 it's ok, but what if you want SLI in the future? what if the future card use more power? I'd say about 600W seem fair, or there's also the EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W that's very cheap and good too.

If you are going to games only, get an i5, if you do heavy photoshop/video rendering/3D modeling etc then get an i7.

DEFINITELY GET AN SSD

My rig: Intel Core i7 4790k | MSI Z97 PC Mate | GSKILL Ripjaws X 16GB 1866MHz | ADATA Premier SP550 480GB SSD | Seagate Barracuda 3TB | Seagate Barracuda 2TB  | MSI Gaming X GTX 1070 | Thermaltake Versa N21 | Corsair CX550M Semi Modular PSU | AOC G2460PF 144Hz | Logitech G502 | GSKILL Ripjaws KM780  | GAMDIAS HEPHAESTUS V2  PCPartPicker | Old Build Log | New Build Log

The one with the 4690k is better, but I would upgrade the PSU to a decent 650W one such as the EVGA SuperNova NEX 650W
