If you want to SLI in the future, then the z97 Gaming 5 from MSI is pretty good and SLI capable.

But if you don't want to SLI you won't need more than the Gaming 3. Maybe there's also other mobos which are cheaper, but i don't know a lot of names there.

The MSI one, since it has more power phases, so in theory a more stable overclocking experience.

MSI but make sure to check the Gaming 5 as well from MSI it's very likely to have all the features you need already...don't overspend.

i don,t know what question you are refering to, but also i've seen you don't plan to use SLI so the MSI Z97 Gaming 3 would in fact be the board that is more suited to you (No dual GPU)
