Okay,

So i just got my new PC up and running, All fine and dandy until I attempt in installing a game.

I download the game from steam, And then i start installing it.

As usual it downloads and installs DirectX and .NET Framework, blah blah blah.

But for some reason when I install .NET Framework 3.5 it gives me the error code of

0x800F0906

Yes I am running windows 8.1.

I have tried enabling it in control panel, I've tried reinstalling it from my original win8 boot USB, all that stuff.

This is really annoying me, please help ._.

I suggest go to "Turn Windows features on or off" and enable .Net 3.5 thru there.

If the softwares need .Net 3.x then you need .Net 3.x not 4.x.
