Confusing Dialog Boxes

Xorbot

Something popped into my head while programming just now.  I recalled a website that had a collection of confusing dialog boxes.  I don't remember the site, but I did find this example here:

It's funny because the message and the button actions are incredibly confusing.  :)

Are you canceling the subscription or canceling the canceling of the subscription?  ;)

Ive encountered these in the past, i don't see any problem with it apart from the UI programmers urge to make the text less understandable.

Something wrong with your connection ?

Run the damn cable :)

The moral of the story is to not depend on programmers to write the user interface text in applications. ;)

How is the dialog box confusing?

The intent is to cancel a subscription.  To proceed cancellation, the user should press "Continue".  However, many people would press "Cancel" because they want to cancel the subscription.  But in reality, this will abort the cancellation process, resulting in the subscription continuing (ironically).
