OnePlus or S6

AMD Lover

So I'm trying to debate against a OnePlus 64GB Black, a Samsung S6 or a HTC M9. Opinions? Advice?

Either the S6 or the M9. OPO is trash compared to those two.

@AMD Lover

I'd personally go for the M9. I'm not sure if you'd like it but I think it's alright (though I'm an iPhone guy... yeah hate on me).

Then, I'd go for the S6 if I decided I didn't like the M9. You really should test them both out and look at features to make sure the phone you pick is what you wanted.

The OPO is alright... but I wouldn't go for it.

Hope this helps :D

Well it depends on the budget, the OPO is a fantastic phone for the price but I wouldn't call it trash compared to those 2.

You are right, but I'm assuming OP has the budget for an S6 or an M9. If so, they're significantly better candidates.

Indeed, I have been debating getting a S6 Edge as they look awesome however its 3x the price.

Well, it depends if you would actually USE the edge screen or not. I think it's just a gimmick.

The difference is the M9 and S6 would be 2yr contract phones. The OPO would be off-contract

Oh, that is a potential game changer. I'd say: If you're okay with a not-so-premium feel and a low on feature fork on Android, then go for OnePlus One. If you want premium then go for the S6 or M9. It's a matter of personal preference.

I would go with the s6 definitely.

I personally think that Touchwiz absolutely sucks and it would throw me away from buying a Samsung phone.

How much for M9/S6 on-contract and OPO off-contract?

Touchwiz is much sleeker, and is less of a pain (apparently). Besides, you could always use a launcher and hide the apps you dont want

It is an opinion formed from evidence gathered by real world experiences.

On the contrary, it may be outdated but I would call the m9 and s6 thrash compared to the OPO.

Reason being the 801 still flies and you won't notice the difference with 810 in everyday tasks or even most games.

OPO has better battery than both.

Much cheaper.

If you get a OPO and put Oxygen OS on it that'll be a really good phone. Granted a galaxy S6 has superior hardware I would pick that when cyanogenmod 12S is ready for it, if money is not an issue. The One M9 just falls short, head over to anandtech and read their review of the HTC and the issues it has.

I'd go with the HTC One M9 for two reasons - one, I work for a phone carrier, and I get to see the rafts of real, reported issues with phones. Samsung units seem to have a higher tendancy for major hardware and software issues. Two, how can you say no to HTC's Uh Oh protection? http://www.htc.com/us/uh-oh-protection/
