GTX Titan X temps

Hi, I just finished my 2 x Titan X build.

The bottom GPU is 30C idle, the top one is 60C idle.

The airflow to both cards is fine, its just the top card does not cool at all.

Anyone know if this is a known problem or any fixes?

Apparently not.

Idle temps don't matter much, what are the load temps?

You could try switching them around to see if airflow is the problem, or if your top card has a cooling problem.

Given that they are so close together, try swapping the cards places so the top card is on the bottom.
If it is still hot, then your GPU has a problem.
If it is no longer hot, it's air flow. Space them apart by one PCIe slot.

BTW the cards were spaced out.

Okay, just the cold card on its own now and its idling at 50C.

Im starting to think its a problem with a driver.

maybe not the drive and it the thermal compound of the cards !

maybe by replacing the thermal paste of the card it will help, but before doing that please check the warranty policy

(note: do it at your own risk !)

I have found the problem, it is software.

I have tired the cards in every possible config, and the main card is always 60C, 0% load.

I think there is some kind of bug in the latest driver, as I get a very good score in 3DMark and the temp of both cards is around 80C.

If I set my desktop to 1080p not 1440p the temp of the main card goes too 30C.
