Hey guys!

Wondering if you guys could help me, I'm planning on building a custom loop in a months or so time and am after any advice or recommendations on what parts to get and what not to get.

Currently I am planning on adding the CPU and GPU to the loop, using PETG tubing. I'm thinking of going for 2* 280mm rads, or maybe 1* 280mm and 1 * 140mm.

I've seen that I should consider adding a drain port to the loop, but not sure how this would be done with PETG tubing.

Anyway my build is below,

Thanks :)

i personally use swiftech H220X and expand my loop, it have a powerful pump, a enthusiast grade block, a res, and cheaper than building your own custom loop

I dont know what to write here

Going rigid tubing on your first loop? I like your confidence!Definitely go 2x280 rads as a minimum if you're going to be OCing a good amount.

Haha. I figured that I might as well go all out. I much prefer the look of rigid tubing compared to the normal bendy tubing. Looks so much cleaner. I do plan on oc'ing so obviously the more rad space the better. Thanks for the help. What power pump is good enough? And I'm assuming that I can run it off a 650w psu?

Neat tool: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp

I'd get a d5 vario. As for the psu I can't really say. I'd personally run a good 850 so there's a some room to expand if I wanted to.

Brilliant, that tool is pretty neat, sounds like I should be fine with a 650. I've heard good things about the d5 vario. I've decided that rigid tubing might be a bit ambitious for my first loop.

You won't be dissapointed either way. And tubing and fittings shouldn't be too bad to change if you ever feel like mixing it up. Send me an update whenever you finish the build :)
