HELP NEEDED

HOOOOOO YES  ... ALL looks good. I when in to management and scan for harware changes on the 1. keybord 2. mouse and point dev and 3. on universal serial bus.

now all looks good Thanks people

 

NEED PS2 and the motherboard thank god had one

I have a new PC which I use an MSI Z87I AC mini itx motherbord (http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z87I_AC.html#hero-overview)

I did  the normal windows 7 installation with some of MSI utilities including MSI Live update.

All was O.K util the MSI Live update start to update including BIOS.

During the update of bios all was on lock down as the MSI massage suggest.

After the restart all my usb keyboard and mouse DON'T work in Windows but they DO in BIOS.

P.S I have 1 PS2 keyboard and works ok in windows

HELP ME !!!!!

First, make sure you're not plugging them into a USB 3 port.  Sometimes mice and keyboards don't like to play nice with USB3.

If that fails, try uninstalling and reinstalling the usb drivers.

Why in the **** would updating the BIOS be part of a normal roll out of live updates?  WTH?  Never update the BIOS unless you need to. Why would MSI ever allow this to happen with their software when to me it sounds like the OP just installed everything and the BIOS update was an auto setting?  WTH?  Please tell me this isn't what happened.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

bios update isn't a normal roll out. But is available within the windows if you have the MSI Live update which updates all the motherboards utilities and any other (usb 3.0,  wireless, sound drives etc)
