What you could do though is purchase it (seeing its legit) then re-sell it and make yourself a $900+ profit.

For the moment, be careful, because an ultra-high-end laptop going for a tenth of its retail price is rare in the PC market unless it's either broken or a scam. Do everything you can to make sure that it's real.

This for sure. I would go with a couple friends myself. The best way to figure out if it really is a scam or broken with a catch is to just see it for yourself. The seller may be desperate for money, quickly.
