If you're out and about, in-ears. If you're at home or in a quiet location, headphones.

You need four more posts. You have 4,440.

Edit: after that, never post again. Lol.

   sweet thanks

Spend as much as you want, too. It'll make a difference provided you get good headphones with a sound signature that you like.

What was it about the two phones in the OP that you were interested in?

after that, never post again. Lol.

Lol. Not that I've seen. Not to mention there's no space for emi shielding, show me a phone with good sound quality. It may be OK, but this being the audiophile section (and an elitist forum in general) its all about what is best. Tablets may be able to accomplish this a bit better, due to there larger form factor, and thus more space, but its still not gonna be good.

Oh man....I knew something was off with this picture/scene:

Wrong. Try again....

Then what am I looking at? I could swear that's a studio jack to 3.5 to 2.5.

Count it then. Where's the 1/4" to 3.5mm, and where's the 3.5mm to 2.5mm?

On a second look, it appears the only other option is a 3.5 female to 2.5 male. That cable is pretty confusing to look at. Maybe its just me, sometimes I'm simply unable to tell what the fuck I'm looking at in a picture.

LCD-2 or LCD-3. And come on bruh, get a smartphone

I don't think a phone isn't enough for sensitive headphone / IEM. I drove almost all the 1964 ears IEMs from v3 to the $2K Adel 12 with my Oneplus One and all of them sound better compared to my RE-400 connected to O2 amp

Just use the proportion. There's no way a 3.5mm plug + jack to be longer than any phones.

Besides, that't not the point. If it were, I wouldn't post it in this topic, irrelevant. It's actually the fact of plugging a $2500 headphone to a $30 phone.....

Gotcha. I thought the jack was closer to the camera than the phone.

I choose not to use a smartphone. The batteries on those things are dreadful, and hard to use while driving. With this good old phone, I can type a perfectly worded SMS without taking my eyes off the road.
