Posted April 2, 2015 Sources: http://wccftech.com/oneplus-two-expected-feature-military-grade-biometric-scanner/ http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/03/29/many-oneplus-two-details-leak-out/ According to a source, the OnePlus Two is going to feature an advanced biometric scanner that will rival the security contingencies of Apple’s Touch ID interface. If the biometric scanner is as advanced as the source states that it is, then will OnePlus also be aiming towards a mobile payments platform too? Given particularly Google’s intentions for developing that area for Android devices. Chinese smartphone companies are on the rise and if OnePlus wants to create a broader market for itself other than just pricing its offerings aggressively, then it is going to have to come up with features that augment the experience for the user. In terms of hardware specifications, the OnePlus Two is expected to retain the same screen size as its predecessor while upping the resolution from 1920 x 1080 pixels to 2048 x 1536 pixels. The OnePlus Two is also expected to be incorporated with Qualcomm’s Snadpragon 810, the octa-core SoC famous for its overheating problems. More info are in the sources listed above. Posted April 2, 2015 "military grade" lol this is as bad as motherboard manufacturers calling their components "military grade" Military Grade doesnt mean strong, it just means the same quality military parts use, I would expect higher duaribilty from anything with "military grade" branding Is the Snapdragon 810 the one with the Adreno 420 GPU? Posted April 2, 2015 "military grade" lol this is as bad as motherboard manufacturers calling their components "military grade" Why? Military class means that it meets military standards for construction, generally meaning better reliability, better build quality and longer lasting As I remember, only MSI does and their mobo's are the only thing I really don't like from MSI. So yeah, military grade... Really? Posted April 2, 2015 it seems silly to me Why? for the laymen its a way of saying "we used really good components" if it said really complicated technical jargon on the box, 99% of people would have no IDEA what they meant Saying "military class" says it all in just 2 words Desktop - Corsair 300r i7 4770k H100i MSI 780ti 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400mhz Crucial MX100 512gb Samsung Evo 250gb 2 TB WD Green, AOC Q2770PQU 1440p 27" monitor Laptop Clevo W110er - 11.6" 768p, i5 3230m, 650m GT 2gb, OCZ vertex 4 256gb, 4gb ram, Server: Fractal Define Mini, MSI Z78-G43, Intel G3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 4x 3tb WD Reds in Raid 10, Phone Oppo Reno 10x 256gb , Camera Sony A7iii
 Posted April 2, 2015 Heyyo, Are you sure this is R E A L news? Although I'm guessing AFD is over across the pond now.OnePlus already announced they will name the OnePlus One's successor as OnePlus 2... not OnePlus Two... so... I question the credibility of those two news posts too. It was from a Reddit AMA where they discussed the official naming would be a numeral and not alphabet. http://www.androidcentral.com/oneplus-2-smartphone-scheduled-launch-q2-or-q3-2015 Heyyo, My PC Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/sNPscf My Android Phone: Exodus Android on my OnePlus One 64bit in Sandstone Black in a Ringke Fusion clear & slim protective case
