So there is a slight static sound, my PC is plugged into a the wall. Does anyone else have static with the hyperx clouds? its nothing crazy. In audacity it doesn't even show a wave difference.

Any way to fix it?

does it happen on other devices? most likely your onboard audio has interference.

Check if the cable touches the ground if you homes electric installation does not have the 3dr ground cable, if not it is just interference in your case or you have "hear the microphone" enabled

Check another headset on your pc and try the hyperx on another source (like a phone or an ipod), maybe is your soundcard, not the hyperx but given LMG drop them as sponsors for the compleaints they had on their products it might be just the headset...

If other headphones have the same noise and on other sources are ok then yes, a soundcard with proper isolation will be the solution OR check what is the source of the interfrence (probably the PSU)

Did you try another pair of headphones to see if you get the same results?
