Need to format my HDD and dont have OS disc

Hey guys, if i can get help on this that would be great. I cant find any info any where.

So i want to sell my laptop, and i know to do this i should format my hard drive.

But unfortunatly i dont have the windows 7 operating software disc.

Is there a way for me to get around this?

if you are just formatting it use this guide no need for the disc

but if you want to sell it formatted with an OS you will have to create a new disc using a burnable ISO and give them the product key which should be on the button on the laptop.

If you just want to remove certain programs and data, you can delete everything you don't want on the disk and use a drive wiper to remove data from the remaining free space. CCleaner comes with one that allows you to make multiple wipes to ensure full deletion.
