Is G2A a trustworthy site? Ubisoft cancelled some codes people bought from there because the seller bought them with a stolen credit card (from what I heard).

G2A also offered refunds to those affected (if you used G2A Shield)


I buy and sell from there all the time, never had an issue. I do suggest buying the shield protection if you are worried.

They didn't reinstate all keys. I lost mine but got my money back from g2a because of the shield.

G2A will refund your money if you purchased shield.

If you bought the game and activated it before they got revoked then they where given back. If you bought after they started revoking then you couldn't get it activated..so refunds where given instead.

every game I've bought in the last 2 years that haven't been in the steam sale have been bought from G2A.

its a fantastic site and you pay a fraction of the price.

all of the bad press it gets are from people who have never used it and just say they don't like the idea of it..

g2a is like the eBay of game keys, people have feedback.. only buy from people with good feedback and its fine.

Most people have a perfectly fine experience using the site, but nothing has been changed that could prevent fraudulent keys from being sold on the site. So it's just a matter of whether the prices are low enough to be worth taking a slight risk. Sometimes they probably are.

 

Personally, I prefer authorized resellers.

Yes it is, 90% of my games are from there and I have had no issues with them.

Weird, what email provider u used ?

I always get my keys within an hour or two on gmail using PayPal to pay. Only when I pre-order games it says that key will be delivered a day before release or on the release day.

I only buy keys from g2a not from 3d party sellers on the site (the different flags u can choose from are not official g2a sellers).

That was meant in general obviously, hence why I used "U" instead of "G2A" in that sentence.

In g2a case all they needed was that one mistake and people put them on nontrustworthy list, just like people make fun of Nvidia for 3.5gb Vram....

Calm down I'm not praying to g2a before I go to bed... Im just glad for such website to exist because games that are forced to be released yearly are unfinished and not worth $60 price tag or very old game being sold for same price as when they 1st released.

What confused me was that Battlefield Hardline was $40 before it was released... (the sellers had 5 stars and tons of feedback too)

Bought 10+ games and no problem.

I bought FC4 on G2A, started playing it, then had it revoked by Ubisoft.

Opened a support ticket with g2a, got a new key only to have it revoked again, so I got a refund from G2A (or the seller on G2A).

And then Ubi reinstated my key.

 

And I never even used G2A Shield...
