Story time:

So I have recently been frustrated with running out of storage space on my SSD (Was down to 12GB left).  I just kept getting the feeling that space was continually being taken up even though I wasn't downloading anything.  Using SpaceSniffer, I found out that about 30GB of space was marked as unaccessible.  I asked you guys on the forums and it was dismissed as normal stuff.  This was about a week ago.

Today, I decided to uninstall the unused Autodesk programs I have (I have AutoCad and Inventor).  I'm talking about the generally useless ones like Autodesk 360 (Which for some reason would be running in the background).  I uninstall the programs and restart the computer.  Checking my drive space, I see that the free space jumped up from 12GB to 40GB!  I immediately panicked because I thought that something must have gone wrong.  These programs I uninstalled were only supposed to total a few gigabytes.  When I checked SpaceSniffer, the unaccessible space dropped down to a more reasonable 5GB.  What the hell was Autodesk doing with 25GB of space???

It's heavy.

I only use Inventor but the rest of the packaged stuff is huge.

I realize but when I installed the programs, they weren't taking up all that space.  From what I am gathering, autodesk 360 was continually doing something to take up space.

How much did you use the programs? Did you create anything that would be that big? Or alot of small things?

I don't use it particularly heavily.  The total size of the files I have created with the program would be <2GB
