Mechanical Keyboard Caps Question

So I have a ROCCAT Ryos MK Pro and on their website they have a listing for this:

So I guess the confirms that ROCCAT are cool with you removing key-caps, however when my Dad was Christmas shopping he was going to get me some new WASD caps. However he decided not to after reading that you will regret removing them and that they are never the same as they were. Should I remove them or what? I want some new ones, especially because the default ones get unbelievably greasy, and I just want to change things up...

I dont see why you dont want to remove them. I usually remove my keycaps every so often to do maintenence and I have never had a problem with them. I regret nothing.

Many people remove them all the time and I know Linus/Luke do all the time as well.
