Best USB Wireless Adapter?

Hey Guys,

 

I wanted to get a wireless ac adapter for my PC. I don't know what to get. I would like to get a PCI card as long as it something like the base station of the ASUS PCE-AC68 post-153925-0-07771100-1427729150.jpg . However if I have to get a USB adapter I would preferably like to have something like the base station but USB post-153925-0-12477900-1427729149.jpg as I dont like the idea of having a Card sticking out my computer as I know I would accidentally hit it and break it.   :P 

 

I want to achieve the highest speeds possible but I dont want to spend more than 30 GBP or 45 USD or 55 CAD or 60 AUD. Also I would like to use this with Windows 8.1 Pro x64
