Win 8 - Having to disable adapters and re-enable to gain network access
Go to solution
Solved by obsidian1200,
Have you tried rolling back or updating your network drivers?
Also, in regards specifically to the network errors, are you getting a limited connection, represented by a yellow caution triangle on your network tray status icon? Or does it stop seeing networks completely, without giving you a local connection? If it's a limited connection, I would again try manually setting DNS settings, but try using the google DNS server (8.8.8.8 for primary and 8.8.4.4 for alternate) instead, as this has resolved that error in the past. If you can, try setting a static IP on your PC and router too, just in case.
