UPlay. -_-

So I wanted to play Far Cry 3 today, and it wouldn't launch properly (start loading and freeze). I uninstalled UPlay, and it took Far Cry 3 along with it. None of the files from Far Cry 3 are even on my system anymore, and UPlay still thinks it's installed. And now the UPlay logo for down in the taskbar has gone away and has been replaced by one that usually comes up when the icon is missing.

 

I love whoever it was that got me this, but... I really wish it was a Steam key they gave me and not UPlay.

Even if it is a steam game I think you still have to use Uplay, don't you just love double DRM.

Yep, even if you buy it on steam, you have to put up with Uplay. At least, Origin doesn't pull this kind of shit...But then again, I can't play any recent EA games off of steam...
