Bottleneck?

when gaming my pc never seems to use more than 60% of my gpu most of the time. it may use 70% at a push. is there a bottleneck in my system somewhere? i cant imagine my overclocked FX830 can be bottlenecking it that much. a diagnosis would be great

Depends on the game but usually not so much as only letting the gpu use up to 60%

I have 8gb of 1333MHz CL9 ram. but im sure ram doesnt make a massive difference to fps

What games do you play? 

 

Some games are badly optimised. Causing the your GPU not to use it's full potential.

play games like battlefield 3, league of legends, warthunder, CIV 5, guild wars 2 and dark souls

FX do shit in DX9/DX10 games because of poor multi-threaded support.
