Windows 10 on a separate SSD?

Go to solution Solved by thekeemo,

you dont even need to unplug them you can just select the SSd you want to install it on and be good

Hello! I'm really eager to try the DX12 Draw-call benchmark yet I know I need Win10 for it. But I was thinking...

Would it work for me to simply disconnect my main SSD with OS & supplementary HDD & just format my third-drive/second-SSD and install Windows 10 on it?

Then when I'm done; reformat that 2nd SSD, plug back in my first SSD with OS as well as my HDD & be good to go?!

Yep, just select the ''empty'' SSD (unless you want to format it) and bam you got Windows 10.

The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time.
