I am planning on buying a keyboard from someone in the US and I was wondering if anyone has a good experience with UK Import Tax?

Also it isn't cheap for him to send international from US to Northern Ireland, so if anyone knows a cheap international service that is reliable please do let me know.

Thanks :

i have bought camera gear from hongkong and its was far cheaper but you don't get a warranty as soon as it in the UK

So you didn't have to pay import tax? I be buying a used keyboard from someone on this forum.

it depends whether it gets stopped. its 20%+ some random amount if it does. thats only if you say the value is under £20 or something though. if you put the actual value of the item then you will get charged.
