psu cable disconnected

so rearraning my cables i had this little misshap when pulling the cable out

 

all tutorials ive seen mention pulling the cable after pushing the pins inside the connector but since the cable isnt inside the connector i have a problem

 

how do i remove the pin from inside the connector without the cable attached?
