okay guys so I want to build my very first computer. With a bit of help from a couple of friends I tried to get some stuff together.

I am making this topic because I still want to have some comments/suggestions/criticism from you guys.

I do have to say that my budget is not that high. its around €800 , (which is currently like $820?)

also I am not trying to overlock it

here it is :

  • CPU                             Intel core i5-4460 3.2Ghz
  • CPU Cooler                 cooler master hyper 212 Evo 92.9 cfm sleeve bearing CPU cooler
  • Motherboard               MSI B85-G41 motherboard
  • RAM                             8GB Crucial ballistix sport DDR3-1600
  • HDD                             Seagate Desktop HDD 1TB 3.5"
  • SSD                             Kingston SSD now V300 120GB, SATA3
  • Graphics card             Asus Radeon R9 270x DCII TOP, 4GB
  • Power Supply             Corsair CXM 500w
  • Optical drive               Samsung DVD RW 24x Black bulk sata
  • Case                           Sharon V54-V
  • OS                              windows (7/8)

if I could get some comments on this one I would appreciate it.

have a great day

You need a better GPU

I recommend cutting down on the cpu for a better gpu

Can you post a link from pcpartpicker?

the case is not included in this one. couldn't find it on the site

I think you posted the wrong link because that is an error page.

yes, and for the basic using of internet, and in the future just word, powerpoint etc. not high-end stuff like photoshop

If for gaming you definitely need a better GPU

Even if it requires downgrading to an i3 to make room for budget

If I have to upgrade the GPU I will, but other than that, do I have to change for example the Power supply as well? or something else

EDIT:

the budget can always go up, thats not the point, it was just pure for getting it together faster

Try to get a 280 with that budget, I think you can fit it in.

You might have to upgrade the PSU as AMD cards use a ton of power. Maybe a 600W from Corsair

I usually leave a ton of buffer for their CX series since the CX isnt the best quality  PSU

for a GPU, do you think the

Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX  or

MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr is a good solution?

Definitely the MSI

The Asus is inflexible and little room for overclocking if any. The 970 is a great choice for a GPU
