Divinity: Original Sin approximate playtime?

I just recently started playing Divinity: Original Sin. I've spent close to 8 hours and I'm still exploring the first town of Cyseal.

I'm having a great time playing so far but I was just wondering how long people have taken to complete the game?

Also, is it advisable to steal everything in sight? Because I have been, so much so that the merchants have run out of coin to pay for my stolen goods.

I think I spent about 70+ hours on everything in total.

And yes, steal everything in sight and sell it to the ship keepers.  It's ok if they run out of money, they will get more as you return to them over time.  Keep doing that.  It will teach you lessons about how to behave irl.

I am impelled not to squeak like a grateful and frightened mouse, but to roar...
