Hey guys, so I bought an enthoo luxe case and a slight upgrade with motherboard and cpu etc. My cousin built my last pc. But he is unavailable. So I attempted my self to move the guts over. And failed. Ended up taking it to a pc shop. 100 dollar flat fee and 3 days turned into 150 dollar fee and about 11 days. I'm over that now. But they failed to follow the manuel sent with the luxe. They told me the fan chip was broken. I sent a picture to phanteks. The guy called and said they didn't follow the mmanal. So my question is is going to best buy to have them do it right worth it? I mean... after I attempt to follow the manual correctly? If best buy even does that stuff. Now typing this, I'm just getting angry with that pc store. I want to not go there ever again. The guy didn't even use the psu cover and put the ssd in the wrong spot. Anyway, the fan xhip is not working. I do have a nnewone. Just wondering where else to go for support if I fail again messing with it

Oh how I miss my techie cousin... I woke up this morning. Read the replies. Went straight to my pc. Took pictures! Once I figure out how to post it. I appreciate everything. Fan chip is what the pc guy called it at the store. It controls the fans. You'll see it in picture.

So about 2 hours later I made a photo album here with some pictures. First time posting pictures online, so I hope it worked alright.

I believe the "fan chip" is the PWM fan hub on the wiring side of the case.

Turn to section 17 of the User Manual, the diagram is fairly explicit. If your motherboard has multiple PWM (4-pin) fan headers, use the provided 4-pin cable to run from the 4-pin on the side of the hub (right side, labeled CPU FAN) to one of these headers - preferably not the one(s) intended for the cpu cooler. Do not attach SATA power in this case. Connect 3-pin case fans to the 3-pin headers on the hub. You can then use the BIOS or supplied motherboard utility to control the fan profile.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
