Note: I wrote this on my local internet cafe's computer.

Hi there. I have a desktop computer that had a newly-installed Windows 7 Home Basic operating system on it. It had no programs (except for the graphics drivers) installed in it. I purchased a product key for Windows 7 Professional so I can use Windows Anytime Upgrade to upgrade Home Basic to Professional. It worked fine and such, until it successfully upgraded Home Basic to Professional. When it was done, it was on the Windows 7 Basic theme, which means it had Aero disabled. I wanted to enable Aero so I right-clicked the desktop, a context menu popped up, and I selected Personalized. When I selected it, it showed a small dialog box that had the title "Explorer.exe" and was saying "Unspecified Error". I though it was only a shortcut bug so I went to the control panel and went to Appearance. Personalization wasn't there, it's not listed.

Is there a problem with my installation of Windows? Did I purchase a copy that was bad? I have no clue.

Any solutions? Suggestions? Help will be greatly appreciated!

have.... have you tried rebooting?

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Tech Support first question: "Have you switch off and on your PC?"

Sorry about that. I fixed it. It was fixed because I ran the system file checker. It found a few corrupted files and managed to fix my problem. Can't access the CBS.log though because apparently it says "You must be an Administrator to view this file" even though I'm an admin. Thank you guys for trying to help!
