A friend of mine named RG's parents have been looking at prebuilt computers. My friend mentioned my experience building computers, and they were all for it. His father wants a small form factor, silent PC. I'm not sure exactly what he does, but his budget suggests he would like a workstation. He told me he wants it very quiet, I think hes an audiotech engineer or something.

Anyone who's built in the Silencio 352 in the past, have you any notes you'd like to share? The case's upsides, and downside's?

For a case marketed as a silent computer, the Silencio 352 surprisingly does not have vibration absorbing rubber grommets for the HDD. If he's going to skip an HDD, that would be best for silence.

There's very little clearance behind the motherboard tray for cable routing - it's still possible to squeeze the cables in though.

Otherwise, it's a decent case. It's essentially a CM N200 without the silence features. For what it's worth, the N200 has been well reviewed.

Perso, I would pass on this case because the panels are just too thin for good vibration absorption and as mentioned,

there is very little room for good cable management. My rig is silent on air but with any aio water cooler, some pump vibrations

can be felt / heard as a slight "hum", amplified by the case panels. (pump is virtually noiseless when floating)
