I currently have 3x 24" Vizio TV's (one older one, one new but non-smart, and another which is in the mail which is smart, all 1080p) as monitors running off of my 970, and I've been debating selling them and getting different monitors or an ultrawide. They are decent (well, the one in the mail should be, its the exact same as the new non-smart one but with Wifi), but they are only 60hz, and obviously not meant for gaming. So what do you guys think? I should be able to get around $350ish total from my local Craigslist.

If it were me I'd use that $350 off Craigslist to buy asingle 144Hz panel from BenQ or Asus since you have a 970 to power it. Just be careful, once you make the change to 144hz/144fps the alternative 60fps will go from "good" to "just playable."
