I just built a new computer recently and I updated the BIOs. I flashed the BIOs in windows, it shutdown to restart but then windows updater started installing updates before the shutdown and the computer blue screened. After this point I've been worried something got messed up. The boot time seems to be taking way longer than it should but I'm not sure what to compare it to. Everything else has been working fine though. Here's a video of what my boot up is like. It takes a good 20 seconds before the MSI logo appears.

My sepcs are:

MSI X99s Gaming 7

Intel i7 5820k

16 gigs DDR4 2400

Intel 730 Series (boot drive)

the updates are not fully installed, so windows will be trying to go through them, to no availe. its like crossing an unfinished bridge.

Trying booting to last known config (F8) when starting up.

or boot into Safe Mode (F8) to see if it boots faster.

Also, rollback the update here: http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971058

if the boot is taking a while for BIOS to start, reset the BIOS by taking out the CMOS battery for 5 min. then replace it and reboot.
